Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Job Role & Responsibilities: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer working night shifts, responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems within a clean food production environment. Reporting into an Engineering Supervisor, the role focuses on ensuring minimal downtime of automated production equipment. Key Responsibilities: Electrical fault finding, diagnostics, repair and installation Wiring and maintenance of control panels, inverters, sensors and three-phase systems Mechanical maintenance including bearings, gearboxes, pumps and valves Planned and reactive maintenance on automated conveyors and associated processing machinery Supporting continuous operation of slicing, wrapping and labelling equipment Working effectively under pressure within a small shift team The Ideal Candidate will have: Strong electrical bias with proven hands-on fault-finding ability Mechanical maintenance experience in a production environment Background in FMCG or food manufacturing Experience working with automated conveyor systems Ability to work night shifts (Sunday to Thursday, 9pm–6am) Confidence working as part of a two-person shift team Desirable Skills: Recognised apprenticeship or relevant electrical qualification Experience with control panels and automation equipment Familiarity with clean food production environments Benefits Include: Salary up to £50,000 Pension contribution 20 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Monthly pay On-site parking Subsidised canteen PPE provided If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with us or apply below.
