MS Fabric / Power BI Engineer

Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise environment within the banking sector. The role focuses on platform enablement, technical configuration, access management, and continuous improvement of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Enable and optimize Microsoft Fabric within the client environment Manage and configure Power BI platform (access management, governance, configurations) Ensure stability and performance of business-critical reporting services Implement system improvements, automation, and platform enhancements Oversee platform lifecycle activities (patching, upgrades, feature installations) Ensure compliance with Change Management processes for deployments Manage licensing compliance and proper usage of platform components Provide technical guidance and support to internal users and stakeholders Deliver knowledge transfer to internal teams Required Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric Solid expertise in platform configuration, access management, and governance Experience with enterprise BI environments and large-scale data platforms Good understanding of IT processes (Change Management, Release Management) Experience in system lifecycle management (patching, upgrades, configurations) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English Preferred Qualifications Experience in the banking or financial services sector Experience with automation and platform optimization Power BI report development experience Engagement Details Start Date: April 7, 2026 End Date: December 31, 2026 Location: Stockholm Work Setup: Hybrid (3 days/week on-site) Allocation: Full-time (100%) Contract Type: Freelance / B2B
