The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Otsego seeking Shipping & Receiving Clerks who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies, reporting any issues immediately. Organize and stock received materials in designated warehouse locations. Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate product selection and packaging. Generate shipping labels and documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms. Load and unload trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment. Maintain accurate inventory records of all incoming and outgoing goods. Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure timely material flow. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to operate a forklift or other material handling equipment (certification preferred). Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
