Key Responsibilities Lead the successful transfer of new products from design to manufacturing. Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introduction (NPI). Collaborate with design teams to implement Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Specify, procure, and qualify new manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures. Manage and execute pilot production builds, identifying and resolving critical issues. Create and maintain comprehensive manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flows. Facilitate the smooth transition of new products from NPI to full-scale production. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering. 3-5+ years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or manufacturing engineering roles. Demonstrated expertise in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to product assembly and fabrication. Proven ability to manage NPI projects from prototype to production ramp-up. Proficiency with CAD software and manufacturing quality tools (e.g., PFMEA, Control Plans). Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for process capability and yield analysis. Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or Industry 4.0 technologies.
