The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Fremont seeking Master Schedulers who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts and capacity. Balance production capacity with customer demand, inventory targets, and material availability. Collaborate with sales, production, and supply chain teams to align on scheduling priorities and constraints. Monitor material availability and coordinate with procurement to prevent production delays or shortages. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and potential disruptions. Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust the MPS to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery targets. Track and report on schedule adherence, production performance, and key inventory metrics. Recommended Qualifications Extensive experience (5+ years) in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) for planning, scheduling, and inventory control. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including demand forecasting, capacity planning, and data analysis. In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, lead times, and inventory optimization principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams (sales, production, procurement). Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) systems or simulation software. Demonstrated application of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to supply chain processes. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for performance analysis. APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
