Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain critical IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage) ensuring high availability for manufacturing operations. Provide expert technical support for hardware, software, and network issues impacting production systems and personnel. Implement, monitor, and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect manufacturing data and operational technology (OT) systems. Manage and execute data backup, recovery, and business continuity plans to minimize downtime in a production environment. Configure and troubleshoot industrial PCs, PLCs, and SCADA system connectivity within the IT network. Perform routine system updates, patches, and preventative maintenance on servers and network devices. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support IT aspects of new equipment integration and process improvements. Recommended Qualifications Experience managing Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy. Proficiency in network administration, including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs. Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, MES, or PLC networks. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V). Strong troubleshooting skills for IT infrastructure in a critical production environment. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data backup/recovery strategies. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Operational Technology (OT) systems and industrial control systems (ICS). Familiarity with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) software in a production environment. Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP). Understanding of IT/OT cybersecurity best practices in a manufacturing setting.
