Key Responsibilities Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to optimize stock levels. Manage and oversee all cycle counting and physical inventory activities to ensure accuracy. Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and investigate root causes for variances. Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels, minimize obsolescence, and improve inventory turns. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control, with at least 2 years in a management role within a manufacturing environment Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory management Demonstrated expertise in inventory forecasting, demand planning, and optimization techniques (e.g., JIT, Lean Inventory) Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Power BI) for reporting and decision-making Proven ability to implement and improve inventory control processes, leading to reduced costs and increased efficiency Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for advanced analytics. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Experience with automated warehousing or material handling systems.
