Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to meet production schedules and minimize carrying costs. Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee and execute cycle counting programs and periodic physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Analyze inventory data, identify trends, forecast future needs, and provide recommendations for process improvements and cost reduction. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing teams to ensure seamless material flow and accurate inventory records. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turns, accuracy rates, and obsolescence, reporting on performance. Implement and manage inventory management software (ERP/WMS) modules to track inventory movements and maintain data integrity. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for inventory optimization, forecasting, and data interpretation. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and improve inventory control processes and procedures. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification. Experience with advanced data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proven experience participating in or leading ERP/WMS system implementation projects.
