IATF Quality Engineer | Fremont, MI Salary Range: $82,000 - $117,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for excelling in iatf quality engineer? The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Fremont seeking experienced IATF Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) adheres to IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements. Lead and support internal and external IATF 16949 audits, driving closure of findings. Facilitate the application of AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) throughout product and process development. Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D). Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, procedures, and work instructions. Monitor key quality performance indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming material quality and support supplier PPAP activities. Recommended Qualifications In-depth knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949:2016 standard. Proficiency in core quality tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA. Proven experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action implementation (e.g., 8D methodology). Experience conducting internal and supplier quality audits, with auditor certification highly desirable. Strong analytical skills for quality data interpretation, statistical process control, and reporting. Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical discipline.
