Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, ensuring efficient daily operations and adherence to schedules. Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for the fabrication team. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of experience in metal fabrication, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role. Expert-level proficiency in various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining) and interpreting complex engineering drawings/blueprints. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of fabricators, including scheduling work and managing production workflow. Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fabrication issues and optimize processes for efficiency. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CAD/CAM software for fixture design or program review. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems for production scheduling and material tracking. Certification in specialized welding processes (e.g., orbital, exotic materials).
