Utilize CAD/CAM software to generate efficient and accurate toolpaths. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models, including GD&T. Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding fixtures. Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues to improve processes. Collaborate with machinists and quality control to ensure part specifications are met. Optimize machining parameters for cycle time reduction, tool life, and surface finish. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM). Demonstrated experience in G-code and M-code programming for multi-axis CNC milling machines. Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and material properties. Proven experience in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC milling processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Vericut or similar G-code simulation software. Demonstrated proficiency in advanced GD&T application for manufacturing. Hands-on experience with CNC machine setup and operation. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
