Load, adjust, and optimize NC programs for precise EDM operations. Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine malfunctions or process deviations. Interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. Conduct routine preventive maintenance on EDM machines and related tooling. Maintain accurate production logs, quality records, and material usage. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up Wire and/or Sinker EDM machines. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and G-code programs. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) for in-process inspection. Ability to perform routine machine maintenance, identify issues, and troubleshoot EDM equipment. Basic understanding of EDM principles, electrode design, and material properties for optimal machining. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, precise components. Bonus Qualifications Experience with other precision CNC machining methods (e.g., milling, turning). Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for programming or fixture design. Ability to perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience with advanced metrology tools (e.g., CMM, optical comparators).
