Demand Planner | Grand Haven, MI Salary Range: $64,000 - $97,000 depending on experience Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for excelling in demand planner? The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking Demand Planners. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for assigned product categories using statistical models and market intelligence. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to gather market insights and refine forecasts. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional plans, and customer forecasts to identify demand drivers and risks. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting demand plans and highlighting assumptions and variances. Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identifying root causes for significant deviations and implementing corrective actions. Manage the forecasting process for new product introductions, working closely with R&D and Marketing teams. Optimize inventory levels by ensuring demand plans align with production capabilities and inventory targets. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software. Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of forecasting methodologies, statistical models, and S&OP processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Anaplan). Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). APICS CSCP or CPIM certification. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Experience operating in a global or multi-site manufacturing environment.
