Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product management to gather market intelligence. Utilize statistical forecasting models and software to generate baseline forecasts. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify significant variances, and implement corrective actions. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand with supply. Manage demand planning for new product introductions and product end-of-life cycles. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related quantitative field. 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP APO, Kinaxis, IBP). Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, and S&OP principles. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems such as SAP APO/IBP or Oracle Demantra. Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive analytics techniques. Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
