Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine calibrations on a wide range of manufacturing equipment and instrumentation. Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records, documentation, and databases. Troubleshoot and diagnose calibration issues, making necessary adjustments or repairs to bring equipment into specification. Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal procedures, industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025, GMP), and regulatory requirements. Manage and track the calibration schedule for all plant instrumentation, ensuring timely completion. Operate and maintain a variety of calibration standards and test equipment. Assist in the development and improvement of calibration procedures and work instructions. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and various test & measurement equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, dimensional, pressure, temperature). Familiarity with industry metrology standards (e.g., ISO 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.1) and quality system requirements. Proficiency with calibration management software and Microsoft Office Suite for accurate data recording and report generation. Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail for precise measurements and troubleshooting. Bonus Qualifications Experience with CMMS or calibration management software. Understanding of measurement uncertainty principles and calculations. Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements or internal audit procedures. Basic electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills.
