The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Wyoming that are seeking Calibration Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform routine calibration, testing, and adjustment of a wide range of measuring instruments and equipment. Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records, documentation, and certification. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair non-conforming test equipment and instrumentation. Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal procedures, industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025), and regulatory requirements. Manage and update the calibration schedule and recall system for all plant instrumentation. Select, set up, and utilize appropriate calibration standards and test equipment. Generate and review calibration certificates and reports. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., electronics, metrology) or equivalent technical certification. 2+ years of experience performing calibration of various measurement equipment in a manufacturing or laboratory setting. Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration standards (e.g., electrical, mechanical, dimensional). Proficiency in maintaining accurate calibration records, generating reports, and adhering to quality system procedures. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement equipment and calibration processes. Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as ISO 17025 or ANSI/NCSL Z540.
