INVOICE PROCESSING SPECIALIST

Job Title: Invoice Processing Specialist Job Type: (Remote) Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Invoice Processing Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Invoice Processing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices for our company. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and review invoices from vendors and suppliers - Verify accuracy of invoice information, including pricing, quantities, and payment terms - Enter invoice data into accounting system and ensure proper coding for accurate tracking and reporting - Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with invoices - Prepare and process payments for approved invoices - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all invoices and payments - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to invoices and payments - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices - Identify opportunities for process improvement and make recommendations to management - Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting standards and regulations Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred - 2+ years of experience in invoice processing or accounts payable - Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices - Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our company.
