Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints. Translate sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory targets into a feasible production plan. Monitor production progress, inventory levels, and capacity utilization, adjusting schedules as necessary. Collaborate with sales, production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure alignment and resolve scheduling conflicts. Identify potential bottlenecks, material shortages, or capacity issues and proactively develop mitigation strategies. Manage lead times and ensure that production schedules support on-time delivery to customers. Analyze scheduling performance metrics and continuously seek opportunities for process improvement. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of experience in master scheduling, production planning, or supply chain planning within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize production schedules and manage capacity constraints. Demonstrated experience with demand forecasting, capacity planning, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent process improvement experience. Proficiency with data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software beyond standard ERP functionality. APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification.
