Key Responsibilities Lead the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, SMED, Kanban, TPM). Identify and eliminate waste (Muda) in production processes through root cause analysis and process optimization. Facilitate and lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) events and projects across manufacturing operations. Develop, document, and standardize work procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and quality. Train and mentor manufacturing teams on Lean methodologies, tools, and problem-solving techniques. Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for flow improvement. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of Lean initiatives and drive sustained improvements. Recommended Qualifications Deep understanding and practical application of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., VSM, 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, SMED). Proven experience in process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency enhancement within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, utilizing methodologies like A3, 8D, or DMAIC. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for training, facilitating workshops, and working with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field. Bonus Qualifications Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with manufacturing simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim). Experience with a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for data analysis and process integration. Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering Lean training programs.
