The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Wayland seeking Calibration Technicians who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Perform routine and non-routine calibrations of manufacturing and test equipment. Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate calibration certificates. Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair malfunctioning measurement and test equipment. Manage and maintain calibration standards and reference equipment. Ensure all calibration activities comply with internal procedures, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, GMP). Develop, review, and revise calibration procedures and work instructions. Coordinate external calibration services and manage equipment recall schedules. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field. 2+ years of hands-on experience performing calibration on a variety of test and measurement equipment. Proficient understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration software. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 17025, ISO 9001, or similar regulatory requirements. Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical procedures, schematics, and equipment manuals. Bonus Qualifications Experience with metrology software (e.g., Fluke MET/CAL, Beamex CMX). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to interpret and create technical documentation (SOPs, work instructions). ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or other relevant professional certification.
