Key Responsibilities - Prepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activities. - Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes. - Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment application. - Participate in inventory accounting, including cost tracking, valuation, and variance analysis. - Help prepare financial statements, reports, and other required documentation. - Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. - Assist with audit preparations and provide supporting documentation to external auditors. - Collaborate with production and operations teams to understand manufacturing processes and their financial impact. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficient in GAAP and manufacturing cost accounting principles. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365). - Understanding of cost accounting principles and their application in a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas) for data analysis. - Familiarity with inventory valuation methods (FIFO, LIFO, Weighted-Average).
