Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Monitor and analyze supplier performance data, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Review and approve incoming supplier materials and components for quality. Manage supplier qualification and onboarding processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality. Participate in new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure supplier readiness. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field. Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, and qualification processes within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis). Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier relationship management. Experience with supplier performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
