Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Accurately document and record all received goods into the inventory management system. Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements. Schedule and coordinate freight pickups with various shipping carriers. Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling of materials. Maintain organized and clean receiving and shipping areas. Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits. Communicate discrepancies, damages, or shortages to relevant departments and supervisors. Recommended Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a shipping or receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification may be required or preferred). Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
