Key Responsibilities Process accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried manufacturing employees. Verify and input timekeeping data, including overtime, shift differentials, and various leave types. Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and company policies. Reconcile payroll data and general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Administer and process all payroll deductions for benefits, garnishments, and other contributions. Respond to and resolve employee inquiries regarding paychecks, deductions, and time off accruals. Prepare and submit required payroll tax filings and support year-end processing. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with major payroll software (e.g., ADP, UKG) and integrated timekeeping systems. In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and wage & hour regulations. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation. Experience with complex payroll calculations, including shift differentials and various overtime rules. Bonus Qualifications Experience with union payrolls and collective bargaining agreements. Proficiency with time and attendance systems (e.g., UKG/Kronos, ADP Workforce Now). Familiarity with general ledger reconciliation for manufacturing cost centers. Working knowledge of manufacturing-specific pay structures (e.g., shift differentials, production bonuses).
