Legal Assistant Role Overview Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals in a fast-paced litigation environment. The role involves managing legal documentation, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth administrative operations within the legal team. Key Responsibilities Prepare, format, and manage litigation documents and pleadings. Handle court filings and maintain accurate legal records. Manage multiple calendars, track court deadlines, and coordinate meetings. Maintain organized document management systems and ensure accurate data entry. Draft legal correspondence, memos, and basic legal documents. Communicate professionally with clients, attorneys, and external vendors. Qualifications 3+ years of legal administrative or legal assistant experience in a law firm. Strong understanding of litigation procedures. Experience with court filings; multi-state filing experience is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with document management or legal practice software (such as NetDocuments, Centerbase, or similar systems) is preferred. Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
