Drawing Checker

Key Responsibilities • Review Mechanical & Piping / Structural / Civil drawings prior to issue. • Ensure drawings comply with design intent, project scope, and relevant Australian Standards. • Check for accuracy, constructability, and cross-discipline consistency. • Identify errors, clashes, and inconsistencies, and provide clear technical feedback. • Verify drawing formats, revisions, numbering systems, and title blocks. • Participate in internal QA processes and design review meetings. • Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve technical issues. • Mentor and guide junior drafters and drawing checkers. Skills & Qualifications • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering or Drafting. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in drafting and/or drawing checking. • Strong knowledge of engineering drawing standards and industry practices. • Experience working on Australian projects is highly regarded. • Good technical English skills (reading and communication) Contact: an.le@peopleprofilers.com
