Construction Safety Manager (Part-Time) | OSHA & EHS Compliance

Our client is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support safety operations across multiple active job sites. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and state/local regulations; conducting site audits; managing incident investigations; and leading safety training initiatives. This is a hands‑on, field‑based position ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic construction environments and is committed to maintaining a strong culture of safety. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation Assistance Work Schedule: Part‑Time, 20–40 hours per week Requirements: Site Safety & Risk Management Develop and maintain site‑specific safety plans and procedures. Identify potential hazards on construction sites and implement corrective actions. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across multiple job sites. Ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA, DOT, and applicable state/local regulations. Incident Management & Compliance Manage workers compensation reporting and case follow‑up. Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventative measures. Investigate, document, and manage EHS incidents, near misses, and injuries. Maintain OSHA logs, certifications, incident reports, and regulatory documentation. Training & Safety Programs Develop and deliver safety training for new hires and monthly safety meetings. Create safety materials, toolbox talks, and compliance‑focused training content. Support continuous improvement of safety management systems and best practices Qualifications/Must-Haves: OSHA 30 Construction certification (required) Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality in personnel‑related matters. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to the construction industry. Experience with incident investigations, workers compensation, and safety documentation. Construction safety management experience in commercial construction environments. Minimum 3 years of experience in an EHS‑related field OR a Bachelor's degree in EHS or a related discipline.
