Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize carrying costs. Oversee accurate inventory counts through cycle counting and periodic physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies. Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures and systems. Analyze inventory data, generate reports, and identify trends to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless material flow and storage. Identify and manage obsolete, slow-moving, and surplus inventory to minimize waste and maximize recovery. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Demonstrated proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory management. In-depth knowledge of inventory control principles, including cycle counting, demand forecasting, and stock optimization. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop an inventory team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision making.
