The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Hart seeking experienced Incoming Inspection Technicians. Key Responsibilities Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of incoming materials, components, and sub-assemblies against specifications and drawings. Verify accompanying documentation (e.g., Certificates of Conformance, material certifications, test reports) for accuracy and completeness. Utilize various precision measuring tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure compliance. Accurately record and document all inspection results, identifying and reporting any non-conformances. Isolate and quarantine non-conforming materials, initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and collaborating with relevant departments for disposition. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment according to established schedules and and procedures. Communicate effectively with purchasing, engineering, and suppliers regarding material quality issues and discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications (including GD&T). Demonstrated skill in using various precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges, optical comparators). Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual and dimensional non-conformances. Proficient in basic computer skills for data entry, record keeping, and using quality software. Bonus Qualifications ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP QM module). Proficiency in advanced GD&T interpretation. Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods. IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 certification.
