Key Responsibilities Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications. Accurately document all inspection results, including non-conformances, in quality control records and systems. Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products according to established procedures. Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to ensure product compliance. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate and resolve quality issues. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong understanding of quality control principles and manufacturing processes. Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in quality or manufacturing preferred. Bonus Qualifications Experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) or vision inspection systems. Certification in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification.
