Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures and policies to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Oversee all inventory transactions, including receiving, storage, transfers, and shipments, ensuring proper documentation. Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demands, and recommend adjustments to optimize stock levels and minimize waste. Manage and maintain the integrity of the inventory management system (e.g., ERP/WMS), ensuring data accuracy. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to synchronize inventory flow with manufacturing schedules and supply chain activities. Lead, train, and develop inventory control staff to enhance their performance and adherence to procedures. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory management and data analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in inventory forecasting, optimization, and reporting. In-depth knowledge of inventory control principles, warehouse operations, and lean manufacturing methodologies. Demonstrated ability to manage inventory accuracy, reduce carrying costs, and improve material flow. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Familiarity with automated inventory systems or warehouse management robotics.
