Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize and maintain precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators. Document inspection results thoroughly and accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality specifications to ensure product compliance. Identify, quarantine, and report non-conforming materials or products to relevant departments. Conduct first-article, in-process, and final product inspections according to established procedures. Assist in the investigation and resolution of quality control issues and customer complaints. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Demonstrated skill in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Solid understanding of manufacturing quality standards and quality control principles. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately document inspection results. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification preferred.
