Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements. Lead APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plans, and MSA, for new product introduction and changes. Manage the PPAP submission and approval process with customers and suppliers. Facilitate root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (8D, 5-Why) for quality issues. Participate in internal and external IATF 16949 audits and drive closure of findings. Implement and monitor statistical process control (SPC) techniques to ensure process capability and stability. Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and quality records. Recommended Qualifications In-depth knowledge and practical experience with IATF 16949 standard implementation and maintenance. Proficiency in core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA. Proven experience in root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions (e.g., 8D), and continuous improvement methodologies. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control within an automotive production environment. Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Experience with specific ERP quality modules (e.g., SAP QM). Direct customer quality interface experience within the automotive sector.
