Key Responsibilities Lead and manage Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities. Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions using 8D methodology. Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards and customer-specific requirements across manufacturing processes. Develop, implement, and maintain Control Plans, Process FMEAs, and statistical process control (SPC) techniques. Conduct internal audits, layer process audits, and product audits to identify non-conformities and drive closure. Serve as a primary contact for customer quality concerns, managing resolution and communication. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defect rates. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Quality, or related technical field). Proven expertise in IATF 16949 standards, including practical application and auditing principles. Strong proficiency in core quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA. Demonstrated experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Minimum of 3-5 years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
