IATF Quality Engineer | Jenison, MI Salary Range: $83,000 - $118,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in iatf quality engineer? Key Responsibilities Maintain and improve the IATF 16949 Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and effectiveness. Lead and execute internal audits (system, process, product) according to IATF 16949 requirements and schedule. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for internal and external non-conformances using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D). Participate in APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plan development, MSA, and PPAP submissions for new product launches. Ensure adherence to Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs) throughout manufacturing processes and product realization. Facilitate and support external IATF 16994 certification and customer audits. Monitor key quality performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process quality. Recommended Qualifications In-depth knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standards. Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC). Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa). Experience conducting internal and external quality audits, preferably with a certified internal auditor qualification. Strong analytical skills for statistical process control (SPC) and data-driven decision making.
