Key Responsibilities Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials and components. Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, engineering drawings, and quality specifications. Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to assess product conformity. Accurately record and document inspection results, including acceptance or rejection data. Identify, segregate, and label non-conforming materials according to established procedures. Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for material discrepancies. Adhere to all quality procedures, work instructions, and safety regulations. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in using various precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators). Ability to read and accurately interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications (including GD&T). Experience with quality control procedures, documentation, and non-conformance reporting in a manufacturing setting. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and ensure compliance. Basic computer skills for data entry, record keeping, and utilizing inspection software. Bonus Qualifications CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) programming experience. Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification. Advanced GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) certification. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for quality modules.
