Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies for material procurement, inventory control, and logistics. Oversee the planning and scheduling of materials to ensure continuous production and meet demand. Manage supplier relationships, including performance evaluation, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. Optimize inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring material availability and preventing stockouts. Lead and mentor the materials management team, fostering continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies for all materials. Drive the effective utilization of ERP/MRP systems for material planning, tracking, and reporting. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management, supply chain, or purchasing in a manufacturing environment. Proven proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced inventory management software. Expertise in inventory control, demand planning, forecasting, and lean manufacturing principles. Demonstrated ability in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiation, and supplier relationship management. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost reduction.
