The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Manistee that are seeking skilled Maintenance Managers. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring efficient scheduling and performance. Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. Oversee all reactive maintenance and repair operations, minimizing production downtime and ensuring rapid resolution of issues. Manage the maintenance department budget, including spare parts inventory, procurement, and cost control initiatives. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards within all maintenance activities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with production management to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall manufacturing goals. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment. Strong technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Proven leadership and team management skills, including staff development and performance management. Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for planning and scheduling. Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize preventive/predictive maintenance programs. Thorough knowledge of industrial safety regulations and quality standards.
