A respected Independent secondary school in Surrey (ages 11–18) is seeking a passionate and committed History Teacher (ECT) to join their Humanities Department from September. The Role As a History ECT, you will: • Teach engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Contribute to the department’s stimulating and challenging curriculum. • Support enrichment activities including debates, trips and historical projects. • Receive mentoring and professional guidance from experienced colleagues. Requirements • Is completing their PGCE or equivalent qualification and holds QTS. • Has a passion for History and the ability to inspire students. • Demonstrates enthusiasm and commitment to professional development. • Communicates effectively with students and colleagues. • Values collaboration and teamwork.
