Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to support manufacturing operations and production schedules. Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance with quality and delivery standards. Collaborate with production, planning, and engineering teams to ensure timely material availability and optimize inventory levels. Analyze market trends, supply chain risks, and spend data to inform purchasing decisions and mitigate disruptions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in purchasing processes, systems, and supplier performance. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation skills and experience with strategic sourcing and contract management. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and inventory management principles. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships. Track record of achieving cost reductions and supply chain efficiencies. Bonus Qualifications Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Experience with international sourcing and global logistics. Proficiency with advanced ERP modules for procurement and inventory management. Strong analytical skills, including experience with data visualization tools or advanced Excel modeling.
