Process Engineer | Byron Center, MI Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience Are you a skilled professional with a passion for optimizing manufacturing processes and improving efficiency? The Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Byron Center region seeking Process Engineers. Key Responsibilities Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process deviations, equipment performance, and product quality. Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes or modifications to existing ones. Monitor key process performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flow diagrams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, quality, and maintenance to ensure seamless process integration. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or root cause analysis. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in process optimization within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., ASPEN, HYSYS) and statistical analysis tools. Demonstrated ability to apply Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for process troubleshooting and improvement.
