Plant Manager | Manistee, MI Salary Range: $136,000 - $187,000 depending on experience Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for leading manufacturing operations and driving plant performance? Key Responsibilities Oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and safety protocols are met. Develop and manage the plant's operational budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities and optimizing resource allocation. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to ensure product excellence and customer satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes, efficiency, and waste reduction. Manage plant maintenance programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with 5+ years in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proven ability to manage plant P&L, budgets, and lead large, diverse teams. Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations (OSHA) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
