Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery, including mills, lathes, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code. Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and adjust offsets as required. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently. Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor operational issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up CNC mills and lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and various material properties. Experience performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting operational issues. Bonus Qualifications Experience operating and programming CMMs or other advanced metrology equipment. Demonstrated ability in basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for fixture design or program optimization. Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement initiatives.
