Recommended Qualifications 2-5 years of direct purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment, sourcing raw materials, components, or MRO supplies. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for procurement, order management, and inventory control. Demonstrated strong negotiation and vendor management skills to secure favorable terms and build lasting relationships. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, or engineering drawings for manufactured parts. Solid understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management best practices. Bonus Qualifications Experience with international sourcing and logistics. Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for spend analysis. Project management experience, particularly in new product introduction (NPI) or supplier transitions.
