The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Holland that are seeking CNC Machinists. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision parts according to specifications. Set up machines, including loading tools, fixtures, and adjusting offsets. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine setup and production requirements. Perform in-process quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Monitor machine operations, detect malfunctions, and make necessary adjustments or report complex issues. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and 5S standards. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues or tool wear problems to ensure continuous operation. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code/M-code. Skilled in the use of precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling, and various material properties. Ability to perform machine tool offsets, compensations, and basic program editing. Strong commitment to quality control and shop safety standards. Bonus Qualifications Experience with specific CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidCAM). Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Experience operating CMM or other advanced metrology equipment. Forklift certification or experience operating other material handling equipment. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.
