Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and optimize CMM inspection programs from CAD models and engineering drawings. Perform dimensional inspection of manufactured parts using CMMs to ensure compliance with specifications. Analyze measurement data, interpret results, and generate comprehensive inspection reports. Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program errors, machine issues, and measurement discrepancies. Validate and verify CMM programs for accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on fixture design and measurement strategies. Maintain and calibrate CMM equipment, probes, and associated accessories. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS). Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles and metrology. Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and specifications. 3+ years of hands-on experience in CMM programming within a manufacturing setting. Experience with CMM operation, setup, and basic troubleshooting.
