Key Responsibilities Develop, debug, and optimize CMM inspection programs from 3D models and engineering drawings. Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications. Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured components using CMM. Generate comprehensive CMM inspection reports, analyze data, and identify non-conformances. Troubleshoot and resolve CMM program errors, measurement discrepancies, and equipment issues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure measurement accuracy and resolve quality issues. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS). Strong understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models. Hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting CMMs. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
