Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and validate CMM inspection programs from 3D models and 2D drawings. Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications to establish measurement strategies. Operate, calibrate, and maintain CMM equipment and probing systems. Analyze measurement data, generate comprehensive inspection reports, and document results. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve measurement issues and improve part quality. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and in-process checks using CMM. Troubleshoot and optimize existing CMM programs for efficiency and accuracy. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS). Strong understanding and application of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5). Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD models, and specifications. Experience with various CMM hardware and probing systems. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, metrology, and quality control standards.
