Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to produce precision parts according to specifications. Set up CNC machines by installing tooling, fixtures, and adjusting offsets. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code programs. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure quality and adherence to tolerances. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Adjust machine parameters (feeds, speeds, depth of cut) to optimize production and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine alarms or operational issues. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G-code. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges). Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and material properties. Experience with in-process quality inspection and maintaining tight tolerances.
