Key Responsibilities Perform routine preventative maintenance on robotic systems and associated equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells. Execute repairs and replacements of faulty robotic components, including motors, sensors, and end-effectors. Install, configure, and calibrate new robotic systems and peripheral devices. Develop and modify robot programs using teach pendants and industrial control software. Conduct system performance tests and optimize robot movements for efficiency and accuracy. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications. Recommended Qualifications Associate's degree or technical certification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related engineering technology field. 2+ years of hands-on experience with industrial robot programming, troubleshooting, and repair (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, Kuka). Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex electromechanical systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence, Fanuc iRVision). Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP). Familiarity with programming languages like Python or C++ for data acquisition or custom scripting. Basic CAD software proficiency for reviewing mechanical drawings or tooling designs.
